Legs - Pants
 
   1. The crosswise grain line at the hip level is parallel to the floor. The
       lengthwise grain line hangs straight and is perpendicular to the floor.
   2. Pant side seams and inseams hang straight and perpendicular to the
       floor and, from the side view, are centered on the leg.
   3. Pant legs should hang straight from the hips to the hem without
       sagging, wrinkling, or pulling.
 
Hemlines   -
 
   1. Hemlines appear parallel to the floor unless otherwise by design.
